Summary: Martha feels like she’s stepped onto the set of Pitch Black.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
Martha has visited desert planets with the Doctor before, but something about this one makes her nervous. It’s not the heat, or the arid landscape that looks as if it’s never known a drop of water.
It’s the suns, all three of them. One is just setting, and two more are rising. Does it ever get dark here?
Suddenly Martha hopes not, reminded uncomfortably of a movie she saw once, where a planet very like this one was plunged into darkness during an eclipse…
“What d’you think?” The Doctor waved at their surroundings.
“We should leave before it gets dark.”
