Summary: Buffy loses another memento from her past.

A/N: Double drabble.
It wasn’t anything much, just a flower Angel had plucked outside a cemetery and tucked into her hair one night, as the two of them patrolled Sunnydale in search of vampires and other demonic entities up to no good. A sprig of night-blooming Jasmine, he’d said, symbolic of love, beauty, and grace, and in that moment, it had been more precious to her than any number of red roses.
So she’d kept it when she gotten home, although it was a bit wilted by then, the sweet scent almost gone. She’d folded it carefully into a tissue and pressed it between the pages of a book, and there it had stayed, throughout the rest of high school, throughout her aborted time at college. It had gone with her, tucked inside the book of poetry Angel had given her for her eighteenth birthday, when she’d left the crater that had once been Sunnydale far behind, but now…
Time had taken its toll, and when it fell from between the pages and she picked it up, it crumbled to dust between her fingers, another memory from her past that she couldn’t hold onto. She had no tears left, but she cried anyway.
