A/N: Double drabble.
“You sure ya need all that?” Dee asked, eyeing Ryo’s shopping trolley. They’d only stopped at the supermarket on their way to Ryo’s apartment because he’d said he needed to pick up milk, but now it looked like he was intent on buying up half the store.
“I’ve got a teenage boy to feed. He’s like an eating machine, so when I see something on offer, I stock up,” Ryo explained. “I save money that way.”
“Yeah, but veggies? Last I checked, they’re not high on a kid’s list of favorite things to eat. I hated them at that age.”
“Doesn’t matter whether he likes them or not, he still needs to eat them. I’ve been teaching him about nutrition, what his body needs if he wants to grow up healthy and strong.”
“No matter how healthy it makes him, I guarantee he’s not gonna thank ya if ya feed him nothin’ but veggies.”
“I don’t, he gets a well-balanced diet and plenty of treats, got to keep his energy levels up.”
“Won’t half of that go off before ya can use it?”
“Don’t be silly, Dee. I’ll freeze most of this until it’s needed. Should last quite a while.”
