Summary: Jack has ulterior motives for volunteering to do the shopping this week.

A/N: Double drabble.
Supermarket shopping with a young family had to be handled like a military operation. Jack strapped the twins into the trolley, handed Meriel the shopping list Ianto had written the night before, and off they went.
It was vitally important to get everything on Ianto’s list, those were the items the family really needed, but Jack had a list of his own, things they might not need but he was going to buy anyway. He could only get away with that kind of shopping when Ianto wasn’t with him, putting the extra treats back on the shelves as fast as Jack could fill the trolley. That was why Jack had volunteered to do this week’s shopping.
Packets of biscuits, doughnuts, cakes, and multi-packs of chocolate bars went into the trolley along with milk, bread, cheese, eggs, fruit, vegetables, and various meats. There were tins and jars, nappies for the twins, loo paper, kitchen roll, and several kinds of juice.
When the trolley was full, Jack headed for the checkout where Meriel helped unload it, then ran to the other end to pack everything in bags once it was scanned.
Jack smiled; their daughter had definitely inherited her Taddy’s organisational skills!
