A/N: Double drabble.
Dee was just under six feet two in his bare feet, and he usually felt tall around other people, even those close to his own height, but right now he felt small, and he didn’t like it. Not so long ago, he’d towered over Bikky; the runt had always been small for his age, probably from a lack of good food in his early years, but since Ryo had taken him in, he’d started growing and filling out, and over the last few years he’d shot up. Now here he was, six foot six and still growing, and it was getting to the point where Dee had to look up at him.
“What did you feed that kid?” he complained as Bikky headed out to visit his girlfriend.
“Nothing unusual,” Ryo replied. “He just… grew.”
“And forgot to stop.”
“Well, his dad was quite tall, wasn’t he? Maybe his mom was too. And it’s good that he’s tall, most basketball players are. If he’d stayed small, he would’ve been at a disadvantage.”
“Instead, we’re the ones at a disadvantage. He’s gonna eat us outta house and home every time he visits!”
“He’ll stop growing eventually.”
“Yeah, we can only hope.”
